Jaymie Presberg Ivler, an Account Director of Grand Communications, helps manage and drive publicity for a range of the firm’s clients across the entertainment, children’s entertainment and consumer products arenas, including Amazon.com’s indie-publishing businesses, CreateSpace and Kindle Direct Publishing; Anchor Bay Entertainment; Coby Electronics; The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA); Ravensburger and more.
Ivler’s experience at Grand Communications includes: assisting in the publicity campaign for the 80th anniversary of Babar (Nelvana Enterprises), Teletubbies Global 10-Year Celebration (Ragdoll); launch of George of the Jungle on Cartoon Network (Classic Media); Moshi Monsters and its CEO, Michael Acton Smith (Mind Candy); programming and product introductions for XM Satellite Radio and launch of In the Night Garden on Treehouse TV in Canada (BBC Worldwide). In addition, Ivler has helped spearhead the agency’s publicity efforts for various concert tours and live events throughout North America, featuring award-winning properties such as Super WHY Live! (S2BN Entertainment), Hi-5 (Kids Like Us/Nine Films & Television) andCharlie and Lola “Sibling Celebration.”
Since joining Grand Communications as a Publicity Associate in June 2006, Ivler has developed and honed strong relationships with many influential media contacts and outlets across a variety of categories and industries. She has successfully secured numerous placements in a wide range of the most influential national and major-market newspapers, magazines and TV shows. Ivler also brings to Grand Communications her intimate knowledge of social media and the ever-changing blogosphere, with solid contacts at the leading entertainment, pop culture, parenting and technology websites and online destinations.
Prior to coming aboard at Grand Communications, she served at well-known media companies, including MTV Networks and Niche Media. Ivler is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a B.A. in Communication Studies.
