Kate Gerding, Account Executive, capably serves the needs of the agency and the companies it represents, including PBS KIDS, Fred Rogers Productions, BBC Studios, ITVS/Independent Lens, and WNET.
Gerding helps develop and execute publicity programs that encompass traditional media as well as influencer partnerships and social media-based initiatives to drive optimum awareness and engagement for the firm’s clients and their premieres, product launches, special events, and more. She collaborates closely with a broad base of press and influencers on campaigns that heighten visibility and buzz. She also assists in developing pitches and tracking and reporting on the media, influencer, and social media attention that she and the team continuously capture for clients.
She has helped launch and support hit series such as Bluey (BBC Studios) on Disney and Disney+, the new Clifford the Big Red Dog (Scholastic Entertainment)on PBS KIDS and Amazon, Gigantosaurus (Cyber Group Studios) on Disney Junior, and Pikwik Pack (Guru Studio) on Disney Junior. Some of the far-reaching influencer programs Gerding has worked on include traveling Bluey “playdates,” Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood “red box” holiday campaign, and Pikwik Pack virtual watch party. She also worked alongside the team in publicizing the PBS KIDS Read-Along initiative and helped secure the participation of Kristen Bell as a celebrity reader.
Before joining the Grand team, Kate assisted several major companies with projects aimed at elevating their brands’ profile and generating consumer awareness and demand for upcoming products.
Gerding holds a B.A. in English from Clemson University in South Carolina.
